Some more worldbuilding. It’s hard to get to earth since the horses were part of the rebellion and now their teleport stones are hard for the bad guys to get. This is never explained in the comic, but given that we later see that the teleport stone has a horse logo on it, and horses are part of the Chinese Zodiac, it’s perhaps just barely in the realm of something a really sharp-eyed reader might have been able to guess.
